January, 2015

Thursday, January 1, 2015 -- Rollin Pickford Exhibit
Time: 10:00 A.M.-5:00 P.M.
Location: Fresno State- Henry Madden Library, 5200 N. Barton Ave., Fresno, CA 93740
This exhibition will showcase watercolors by Rollin Pickford from the private collections of 21 different families and companies. Visitors will have a rare opportunity to see these never-before-exhibited works and learn more about Rollin Pickford as a man and as an artist. On display will also be some of Pickford's journals, where he wrote daily, often describing his watercolors as he was in the process of painting them. For more information, call 559-278-2595.

Time: 5:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M.
Location: Downtown Fresno, 1245 Van Ness Ave. Fresno, CA
ArtHop occurs every 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month. It’s one of the most active and successful programs organized by the Fresno Arts Council. Museums, studios, galleries and other venues open their exhibitions to the public at 5:00 p.m. and run the free event until 8:00 p.m. Over 50 participating artist studios, galleries, museums, and other venues exhibit art and artists reception during ArtHop, and it has become both a cultural and special event for the community.

February, 2015
